Becky Nieves’ story is one of resilience, determination, and a fierce passion for making the world a better place. As a cycle-breaking empowerment coach, she has turned her life experiences into a mission to help others create meaningful change. A proud member of the BossMom+ community, Becky Nieves is an advocate, a mother, and a changemaker.
From Psychology to Advocacy & Becoming a Cycle Breaker
Becky Nieves never planned to be an entrepreneur. In fact, she spent years helping her husband with his side business without ever feeling drawn to the entrepreneurial life herself. But life had different plans. With a degree in psychology and a job in a community mental health center, Becky Nieves was pursuing a Master’s degree when her daughter was born with Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome, a rare disease. That moment changed everything.
Becky Nieves left school and work to become a stay-at-home mom, immersing herself in understanding her daughter’s condition and advocating for her needs. She began volunteering with a non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome. Over the years, she has served as their fix-it girl, handled marketing and social media, and now sits on their Board of Directors.
This theme of stepping up when needed has been a constant in Becky Nieves’ life. From creating a new soccer team for her son when fair play and development weren’t prioritized to running for her local school board to improve special education, Becky Nieves has always embraced challenges and found solutions.
From Volunteer to Entrepreneur
After over a decade away from paid work, Becky Nieves’ journey into entrepreneurship began with a stint as a virtual assistant. But it didn’t take long for her to realize she was playing small and that her true passion lay elsewhere. Drawing on her personal experiences and inner strength, Becky Nieves pivoted to become a cycle-breaking empowerment coach.
Six years ago, Becky Nieves made the courageous decision to go no-contact with her toxic father, a move that transformed her life. Now, she helps others find the strength to break free from toxic patterns and create lasting change for themselves and their families. Her work is deeply personal, rooted in a desire to help others thrive despite challenging circumstances.
Balancing Life as a Mom of Four
Becky Nieves’ life is as full as her heart. She’s the proud mom of four children: a 21-year-old college student and Marine reservist, a 13-year-old with Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome, a 9-year-old, and a 3-year-old. Her days are ruled by the chaos of parenting, but she makes it all work with determination and a sense of humor.
From homeschooling to advocating for her children’s needs, Becky Nieves’ approach to motherhood mirrors her work as a coach. She’s deeply invested in breaking cycles and creating better opportunities for the next generation.

Becky Nieves’ coaching style is direct, collaborative, and transformational. She works best with clients who are ready to move fast, think outside the box, and tackle tough inner work. Her clients are people who want to make the world a better place, not just for themselves but for future generations.

Her background in psychology and her personal journey give her a unique ability to connect with her clients on a deep level. Becky’s advice for moms considering entrepreneurship is simple yet powerful: “Believe in your dreams because YOU are worth it. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. Surround yourself with people who want you to win, and keep moving forward.”
She also emphasizes the importance of doing the inner work necessary to create lasting change. “You have to be willing to ask tough questions and face tough answers. That’s where the growth happens.”
