I recently tried something that was equal parts fascinating, validating… and honestly a little wild.

I uploaded my thoughts about going all in on my business into NotebookLM and asked it to turn that content into a podcast episode.

What came back?

A conversation between two AI personalities who unpacked my belief system like they were analyzing it in real time.

They talked about motherhood, business, visibility, fear, identity… all the things I care deeply about—and hearing it reflected back to me in that format hit differently.

There were moments where I laughed. Moments where I was like, “Whoa, that’s exactly what I believe.” And moments where I realized…

Some of the biggest things holding us back aren’t what we think they are.

If This Is You…

If you’re a mom building a business while juggling family, identity, ambition, and your own emotional capacity, this is for you.

If you’ve ever felt pulled between wanting more and being scared of what “more” might require from you, this is for you.

If you know you’re capable of something bigger… but keep hesitating, second-guessing, or spreading your energy too thin, this is for you too.

Because going all in isn’t always about strategy.

Sometimes it’s about telling yourself the truth.

The Core Message

What this AI-generated conversation surfaced so clearly is this:

Most women aren’t stuck because they don’t know what to do.

They’re stuck because growth brings visibility… and visibility brings emotional exposure.

And that exposure can feel terrifying.

Going all in isn’t about doing more.

It’s about being honest about what you’re actually afraid of—and building from that place instead of trying to push through it.

The Main Reframe

Here’s the reframe that kept coming up over and over again:

Your business may not be stalled because you’re doing it wrong. It may be stalled because some part of you believes staying small is safer than being seen.

That’s not a strategy problem.

That’s a nervous system problem.

And no amount of posting more, optimizing more, or hustling harder will fix something that your body is trying to protect you from.

The 3 Things Actually Keeping You Stuck

1. You’re letting the algorithm define your worth

We get caught in the spiral.

The numbers drop. A post flops. Engagement shifts. And suddenly, it doesn’t feel like data—it feels personal.

It starts to feel like proof that something is wrong with you.

But the truth is, you’re trying to decode a system that constantly changes the rules.

And when your identity gets tied to that system, every fluctuation feels like rejection.

That’s not sustainable.

2. You’re trying to force growth in a season that needs rest

One of the biggest things that came up was this idea that stepping back is not failure.

There are seasons where maintaining the status quo is actually the most powerful thing you can do.

For me, I stepped back from growing Boss Mom for a period of time and focused on other work.

And while that might sound like a terrible strategy in today’s world…

It was exactly what I needed.

Because pushing through burnout costs more than any algorithm penalty ever could.

You can rebuild an audience.

You can’t easily rebuild a depleted nervous system.

3. You’re setting “all in” goals for things you’re only half in on

This one hit hard.

You can do things in your business that you’re not fully in love with.

But when you set big, emotionally loaded goals for something you’re not actually all in on, you create internal resistance.

It’s like running a bunch of apps in the background that drain your battery.

And then when you try to focus on the thing you actually care about… you’ve got nothing left.

What You Actually Need Instead

Honesty.

What you’re actually committed to.

For me, that meant recognizing something really important:

Boss Mom isn’t the side thing.

It’s the foundation.

Everything starts there.

And I had to admit that I was saying I was all in… without actually showing up that way.

It was like being in a marriage where you tell everyone you love it, but you’re not nurturing it.

That realization changed everything.

The Truth You Need to Hear Right Now

You might not be afraid of failing.

You might be afraid of succeeding.

Because success brings visibility.

And visibility brings opinions.

Criticism.

Pressure.

Exposure.

There’s something I’ve come to call the exposure tax.

The bigger you get, the more you are seen.

And if your brain has learned that being seen equals being judged or hurt, then staying small starts to feel like safety.

But here’s the truth:

You don’t need to be less “much” to grow.

Your too-muchness might actually be your power.

Your vulnerability might be the reason people trust you.

Your willingness to be seen might be the exact thing that allows others to step forward too.

Your Next Move

If this resonated, here’s where to start:

1. Ask yourself what you’re really afraid of

Not the surface-level answer. The real one.

2. Audit where your energy is going

What are you actually all in on? And what are you pretending to be all in on?

3. Stop forcing big goals on misaligned work

You don’t have to make everything your main thing.

4. Build your support system on purpose

If visibility feels unsafe, ask yourself—who’s in your corner?

5. Recommit to what’s truly yours

The thing that keeps calling you back.

Conclusion

Going all in isn’t about becoming a machine.

It’s about being honest.

Honest about what you want.

Honest about what you fear.

Honest about what you’re ready to recommit to.

Because when you build from that place…

Everything changes.
